As of Friday, the White House had not accepted any offers, but Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the State Department was "working very closely with the Department of Homeland Security to match up what is available with what is needed."

What is so wrong with accepting help from other counties? Last I checked, the US is always sending help where needed. Now it's our turn.

IMHO only thing I can think of is the goverment is thinking, if we take the help it would make us look weak. As if we don't look it now...
